This year, on February 25th Boston University’s PRSSA chapter will hold its 6th regional Public Relations conference- PR Advanced: Unleash our Generation. At this conference, PR professionals young and old will be come together to create the ideal PR model. We challenge all who come to pay attention to the variety of Public Relations techniques and tools shared that have catapulted PR professionals- young and old- to be as successful as they can be in their realm of Public Relations.
The digital age has brought about a new wave of PR professionals-professionals found on college campus’ and companies across the world. Gen Y’ers have a new mentality and a new outlook on PR that has changed PR. Yet, Gen Y’ers perspective does not overlook the incredible PR tools and techniques that Gen X has implemented throughout the ages. They have utilized the age old PR techniques that have successfully been implemented throughout the ages to create an ideal outlook on Public Relation
PR Advanced: Unleash Our Generation will address Gen-Y’s opportunity to choose what kind of professionals we are going to be. Our event will provide a balance of inspiration and information to help our generation find where we belong in the world of public relations. The Conference will showcase Gen-Y’ers who are exploring start-ups and Gen-Y’ers who are working in long-standing, successful companies. We will also host Gen-X’ers and Baby Boomers to help us understand how to navigate, innovate and succeed in their professional worlds.
By attending PR Advanced: Unleash Our Generation you will be apart of an array of PR professionals, all who have something different to bring to the table. We challenge you to figure out what your skill sets are and teach others what you know at the conference. There is no ideal PR model-only great PR ideas. These ideas will be shared over the course of a day of captivating speeches and networking events. Be sure to mark February 25th on your calendar, it will be an event no one should miss.
